National Volunteer Week

April 23 – 29, 2017 is National Volunteer Week, a special time to show our appreciation for all volunteers in our community.  This year, as our organization celebrates 125 years serving the youth of our province, we also celebrate the many volunteers who have made the C.L.B. what it is today.

Our membership ranges from children as young as 5 years old, to our longest serving member, Major William G. Tilley who recently celebrated his 102nd birthday, and was recognized at Government House for 90 years of faithful service to the brigade.

The outstanding accomplishments of our organization would not be possible without the support of hundreds of volunteers. It is with great pride that we acknowledge this tremendous contribution, not only to the C.L.B. but to organizations all over our province and country.

Without this support, we could never “Keep the Flag Flying”.
