Where Once They Stood is a dramatic and comedic look back at the First World War that tells our story through historic facts enhanced with music from the era, from haunting ballads to songs that will make you stand up and cheer.
Guests will be transported back in time to the Regimental Headquarters again as Spirit of Newfoundland takes you back to the beginning of 1914 with the King’s call to duty. When the lights dim, Spirit of Newfoundland will take you on a musical journey through the joys and sorrows of war.
Spirit of Newfoundland promises to move the audience to tears and then laughter, leaving you with a new sense of pride for what Newfoundlanders and Labradorians achieved during First World War and particularly at Beaumont Hamel.
